went for a boat trip around some of the Whitsundays for the first time in my life. Yes I'm pretty much a born and bred local and I've never being on a sailing boat! In fact, until last weekend I hadn't even slept overnight on a boat.

On the way back I sat on the front of the boat taking pictures of all the boats and anything that really intrigued me. The water was much calmer on the way home then it was on the way there so I could actually have my camera with me safely without it getting wet.

This guy was moving too fast for me to get the right settings, so unfortunately I cut off the top of his sail in my haste! This was the best result though, so it'll do

It was amazing and it helped me to realise how beautiful the Whitsundays are - when you live here you're not worrying about how gorgeously blue the water is and you never slow down to admire the view.

Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays is actually a very beautiful place to live
